Reiki in its current form is a new concept-but we may find some shlokas in ATHARVEDAS which refer to such a spiritual healing energy as we now call it REIKI.the word REIKI means Universal Life Force Energy.it is defined as being that power which acts & lives in all created matters.being vital force of energy,which flows through all living beings.

Reiki is a Japenese word means Universal Life Force Energy which works on physical,mental & spirtual level.the word Reiki refers to a simple hands on healing technique discovered by Dr.Mikao Usui.

Reiki is neither a religion nor a cult. it doesnot inlvolve forth healing or black magic.it is a natural method of healing,using Universal Life force Energy. Reiki is wonderfully simple,hands on healing art.it is an effective method of relaxation & stress relief.It restores harmony,increases vitality and can treat almost any ailment. Reiki is a simple,natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self improvement that everyone can use.it also works on conjuction with all other medical or therapy or techniques to relieve side effects .
There are 4 degrees in Reiki:
1) Reiki Degree1 -It starts learning process of reiki by healing ourself & ohers by touch.
2) Reiki Degree2 -Its starts Reiki healing from distant place to anywhere in the world for any kind of problems.
3)Reiki Degree3A -It enhance your power with the help of one or more symbol.
4)Reiki Degree3B -It gives you power to teach Reiki Degrees one to other .
5)Reiki Master Degree -You can teach Reiki degree 3A & 3B and also giving Master Training.
